Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)
An EICR is a formal assessment of the safety and condition of a property's electrical installation. It identifies any damage, deterioration or non-compliance with current BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations and grades issues by severity. An EICR is a legal requirement for all private landlords in England and Wales under the Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector Regulations 2020 — and strongly recommended for any homeowner or business that hasn't had their installation tested in the last ten years.
